Zambia’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, His Excellency Emmanuel Mwamba has urged Zambians working in regional and  international organizations to strive to protect the country’s good image and fly the Zambian flag high in all their endeavors.
Mr. Mwamba said this when he handed a congratulatory letter to the African Union Commissioner  for Trade and Industry, His. Excellency Albert Muchanga who has been recognized with the Champion of Trade  Award by the Trade with Africa, for his leadership in championing the establishment of the African Continental Free Trade Area which will create a large single market.
Ambassador Mwamba who is also Zambia’s Permanent Representative to the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) said His Excellency President Edgar Lungu is always pleased to see Zambians succeeding and representing the country well in Regional and International Organizations.
He said Zambia was proud that it had representation at the highest level of the African Union through Ambassador Muchanga who was elected as one of the Commissioners in the African Union.
Mr. Mwamba said the success of the AfCFTA is   success for the entire continent because the benefits that include creation of employment, reduction in cost of doing business and production of quality products among others will benefit all Africans .
Ambassador Mwamba also said Zambia was conducting National AfCFTA implementation  with the private sector before it could ratify the CFTAagreement. 
 He said the AfCTA will increase intra regional trade and will create a single market with a $3trillion GDP.

And Amb.Muchanga thanked Zambians and Africa as a whole for the support rendered to him in making the African Continental Free Trade Area a reality.
He urged the Zambian government to ratify the protocol to ensure that Zambia is not left out in terms of benefits which will accrue to state parties of the AfCFTA agreement.
